I got the shot to prevent cervical cancer, can u still have sex? bc i still need one more shot? Yes, but it should still be with a condom. The shots only protect you from HPV...they do not protect you from any other STD, VD or pregnancy. Plus, the Gardasil vaccine is given in a series of 3 shots...make sure you get all three. In addition, because no vaccine is 100% effective you must still get Pap tests regularly (also, if you were sexually active prior to the shots you could already have been infected and not be syptomatic yet). Just be smart...you seem young and a 60+ years is a long time to live with warts or AIDS. Its the same old story he just needs one more shot!! I'm assuming that you've already had two? BC there is 3 shots all together. U can, but use protection. If this is your first time, then NO! Wait until you've had all three just to be extra safe. |
