When will it be safe to see a chiropractic after a bad car wreck with multiple sprains and strains if I had?

lacerated spleen and liver (grade 2 or 3 ..first they said one then he said he thought maybe it was a two..had internal bleeding and nearly went into shock days later..after my release fom hospital and they were going to remove spleen and part of liver and then decided to wait and watch and then said they will not remove. I am afraid if he opushes on me, it will cause internal bleeding or reinjury..they said don' lift obver 5 pounds..when will it be safe for him to adjust me..I mauy just have him do my neck and leg sitting up for now..I deeply feel chiropractic only way to get better as he fixed me from 4 severely herniated discs before (many previous wrecks and run over by car ..few my fault)..so don't say they are crap as I believe in chiropractic..he got me walking 45 minutes a day when at first I could not walk at all over a short distance and needed wheel chair and took 20 minutes to get to the next room as pain was so bad..neurologist said I needed immediate surgery as it was

bad and that I would be back in a week as the pain would be too bad as it was badly herniated..my chiropractor got me well,,but took a year and a half..now he is worried he wouldn't get paid maybe as i only had state minimum of insurance and I have many catscanas and hosptial on there so not sure how to get treatment..o hmo only will cover 7 motre visits till sept..I am going to try to get prior authorization for more but not suree I will I maybe can afford 10 additional visits will 17 be enough to get me well...before it took 3 times a week fgor 6 months and 2 times a week for 6 months and then oncre a week for 6 months..what else could help me get better..my hip, shoulder blade, mid back, neck, and leg are worst..so my two questions are..when will it be safe to adjust me since I have internal injuries and what else may help me that is either alternative or allopathetic and might be covered by med insurance

There are several ways a Chiro works on a back. You could be sitting, and they have this little clicker device, looks like a pen, and it just pushes a little on your spine. It doesn't hurt...just feels weird, and it won't push you like you are worried about. Also, instead of direct Chiro, they might put you in physical therapy, where you simply are treated with these electrodes that buzz, helping your muscles relax...yes you can sit up with this too. It's a huge misconception that you have to be laying down to get adjusted. Also, if your Chiro helped you before, go to him. Or find another. Either way, they are trained to help.

got scared for some reason but I did find out a have a fracture in my neck and back via a er trauma nurse practitioner but so far the records don't reflect this but have not gotten them all..the first hospital Report It

which admitted me did not tell me I had a lacerated spleen and liver (that caused me to go into shock a week later), these fractures or a spot on my lungs..plus the nurses were horribly mean and Report It

uncaring..I just wish I had more visits covered..I will have to pay for a few myself but still very short on the money end..chiropractors are great.. Report It

also thanks to other responder Report It

I too firmly belive in chiropractors. I play a contact sport and ahve been in two car accidnets myself...I dont really think there is a preset time table with injuries such as yours....I would say that you are your best judge...if you fell you are well enough to have an adjustment done the go for it...but if ou feel aprehensive about it wait. . .
