Need help coming up with goals for my new job as a chiropractic assistant!?

I just started a new job as a chiropractic assistant for a new chiropractor. I am the only assistant in the practice so this is new to me so any help from anyone in the medical field would help me tremendously. The Dr. is very goal driven and wants me to be also. My question is...does anyone have any ideas on attracting new patients to his office? This would also mean more money for me as I will get paid per referral. I truly believe in chiropractic as I have been under care for 10+ years! He is an awesome chiropractor and I want to get the word out but don't want to be pushy.

*Currently we are working on contacting larger companies offering employees co-pay discounts...

Any other ideas are welcome! Serious answers only please!
Thanks in advance!

The chiropracter i used, im 22 and a RN, would offer like 10 or 20 free minutes on the roller table for any one who made all A's and B's on a report card. Its not really a advertising but something that offers rewards is the best way to attract clients.

Goals need to be what you do not what happens after that. So make them things you control like making 10 cold calls a day, or telling 5 people you meet about your practice a week. You could make it addressing 50 promotional mailings a day.

okay, let me tell you something about horse people. they are crazy and many will say "my shoulder's broken, but I can't afford the emergency room because my horse needs a massage"

so what am I saying? horse people will pay BIG BUCKS to get their horse chiropracted. a human chiropracter can get certified in a short time to become a human and horse chiropracter. we have a chiropracter that comes about once every 2 weeks to chiropract the horses at our barn (he's also my coach's chiropracter) I've had my buzzy chiropracted before and I think it really helped.

horse chiropracting is a good way to get more, higher paying, customers (you can charge more to chiropract horses). if he has any horse riding customers then he can mention this and get started through those contacts. if not, there are many other ways. after being certified, he should take a weekend and go to a class A arabian show (those who own show arabs will pay lots of money for things that they think might improve their horse's performance) and he should pass out fliers to the barn, people will pay for his services.

Do a sports night for local athletes~adjust high school athletes for free lets say Wednesday nights~ call high school coaches and get the word out and put it in the paper. I see over 200 on Thursday nites~ its paid me back ten fold because i for treating there kids i will get the parents and when they are no longer in high school they still come in.
