Does the Ontario College of Physicians approve or disapprove of chiropractic treatment ? |
Does the Ontario College of Physicians approve or disapprove of chiropractic treatment ? Since nobody has answered yet, I'll toss in my 2 cents. I do notr think you will find a direct position statement "approving" or disapproving". If they have a position statement I am sure it is very vague. Just like the AMA. Furthermore the college would have no qualifications to approve or dissapprove it. They are not educated in it. I believe they do approve the use of complementary medicine by their members if the methods are reasonable. Instead of looking for someone else's approval, why not make your own conclusions. We are relying, and giving too much power and credit to doctors these days. I'm sure most western med. college's are not as well funded through the Natl. Chiropractic Assoc. as they would be, by let's say , Baxter, Phiser, Glaxo Smith Kline, Searle, ...etc...Money talks so I'm sure the highest bidder would sway the college's view or they'll lose their funding! |
