Only if you consider dentistry, ophthalmology, oncology, pediatrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, family practice, general surgery, dermatology and gynecology cults.

Of course not. It's an alternative therapy not a brainwashing belief system that sets out to trap people and hold them hostage whilst filling their minds with mumbo jumbo.
