Chiropractic effective for hiatal hernias?

Im wondering if going ot a chiropractor for this is worth while. Would they adjust the soft tissue itself and push the hernia back into place, or simply do the adjusting the spine thing? Im confused how that would be effective for this.

There is nothing a chiro can do for a hernia. heck they can't even adjust your spine. It's all smoke and mirrors. I shouldn't say that. Some of them actually help people, but it's from muscle manipulation like a physical therapist would do. There is no way anyone can move a bone in your back by pushing or twisting it. Source(s): I did the research. look it up yourself. History of Chiropractic. And my wife does back surgery.
