Does Chiropractic care really help?

I've started going to a chiropractor because of a pinched nerve in my upper back and pretty intense back pain. What are other people's experience with chiropractors? Have they helped? Were you sore the day after the visit? How long until you saw real results (if any)? Thanks!

They do, just don't let them con you into coming every two weeks for the rest of your life.
I had to see a chiropractor after I got into a car accident and he helped a lot. I wasn't sore at all, actually he made me feel a lot better. I started seeing results a few weeks later. But you really need to keep with it. It's not like a normal doctor's visit that you go to when you're feeling crappy. It's pretty much an every week thing, espicially if you want results fast.
I had a pinched nerve in my neck a few years ago. I went to a chiropractor, and I was fine in a few months.

It never hurt, and my neck always felt better after a visit.
Just choose a good one.
They do help. My headaches vanished.
I felt more relaxed.
