Do chiropractic adjustments make you feel depressed?

I have been getting adjusted twice a week for about 4 weeks now. According to my chiropractor, I should feel very energetic and happy, but for me it's the other way around. Did any of you guys have a similar experience?

No, my chiropractor saved my life, I never felt better than when I was seeing him. Maybe he's not the one for you, try another one.
No this is not normal so see your regular doc to find out what is going on.
Hi Kisawanta. I am a retired Chiropractor. In my experience, some patients do feel depressed/low energy after being adjusted. While many patients feel an energy boost, this is not a 'universal' response.

I discovered in my many years in practice, that patients who respond to treatment with an energy drop are often getting too many adjustments on that visit. When I limited my adjustments on them to just one to three subluxations, they often felt much better than when I adjusted many more segments. You might share this with your doctor and ask her/him to only adjust one or two segments for a few visits and see how this works for you.

Best wishes and good luck.
I would have to agree with Dr. J. I think you should lower the amount of adjustments and see how your body reacts to that. I hope you feel better.
