In the UK, there is a national chlamydia screening programme. This is a totally confidential service and all the testing is done by you, using urine not swabs. They can phone or text the results directly to you and the result is positive you can choose to get treated by them (just one antibiotic tablet usually) or you can go to your own GP. The programme is for people under 25 years of age and it is really a screening only programme for 'well' people. If somebody thinks they have a sexually transmitted disease then it is recommended they go to the genito-urinary clinic to be tested for the full range of things. Without knowing what area or even country you are, you would need to type the chlamydia screening programme into a search engine and see what comes up. This is all FREE, don't waste your money on buying a kit.

You can also get tested for free at your doctors or at a sexual health clinic. Most chemists such as boots have started selling chlamydia testkits, these cost about 拢20.
