My friend wants to name her kid..chlamydia, should i tell her that.....?

my friend is having her little girl in a few weeks and has settled on the name camille Lidia *blank*...should i tell her that that kinda sounds like chlamydia...(i mean, i sure the kids that she'll go to school with well notice by about 7th grade!!) plus the kids initials would be C.L.S....i really, really don't think she was kidding either...weird.

Yes!!!! If she is a close friend, I would tell her that you think it is a beatiful name and don't want to offend her, but it just occurred to you that is sounds like, well you know, an STD! Better for her to know beforehand, even if she chooses it anyway, than to be slapping her forehead later on wondering why she didn't think of it.

Well, you might offend her. Honestly, if I heard Camille Lydia I wouldn't think "Clamydia"............

Plus, kids rarely use their middle names in everyday life. Most likely she'll just go by Camille, and nobody will even know her middle name. I don't know most of my friends' middle names.

that's a nice name I mean you have a point there chlamydia is in fact an std so that wont go. If she likes the name tell her to change it to Lydia camille(LC) I think that sounds nice.

Tell her what you think and ask her to say the name aloud to see how it sounds. It is a BIG decision so make sure that she knows what shes picking first. Anyways, go ahead and tell her what you think.

I would tell her, she might not have realized it, but it sounds way to close to chlamydia. If she is a close friend, you really should tell her.
