Can a person have chlamydia and not give it to a partner? Without protected sex?

had sex with chlamydia and partner was not infected over a year 1/2! No other sex partner during the relationship! Could i hav been infected before the relationship?however the partner is not infected! How is that possible?

okay someone is not tell you the truth.. Okay Clm is an STD. You can get from up. sex. That is how most to all STD's are spread. okay i and going to tell you something a wise old woman told me. Believe nothing of what you hear, and half of what you see. I know that you may seem hurt at first, but hunny, you can get treated for. and that person how had it my not have known that they have had. Chm is different for each sex, some men may not even show any signs that they have it. You just worry about you right now, leave that other person in their own pile of..well you know what i mean. People lie in this world....

It is possible that you had the chlamydia before you got with that person.chlamydia and its symptoms are often silent so it can cause great damage.and it is also possible that your partner cheated then gave it to you.trust me if you are having uprotected sex with this guy and you have chlamydia he has it too...dont believe him and dont sleep with him until you both get treated a.s.a.p..expecially if you want children later in life chlamydia can cause a lot a damage to you reproductive organs..for both men and woman

Someone is lying. Either one partner was fooling around, or one partner DID get it from the other and claimed they didn't. Chlamydia can make women sterile, but they won't have any actual symptoms. With a guy, his testicles often will swell horribly and painfully until the antibiotics kick in. Sorry you have to deal with this. :-(
