Ex partner cheated and gave me chlamydia 4 years ago, do you think thats why i miscarried?

i found out 4 years ago that my now ex parter of 4 years then had cheated and something nagged at me to get a sexual health check. when i got the results i was gob smacked, he had given me chlamydia. i had had the infection for about 3 years as he was honest with me enough to tell me when he had cheated. I later found out that 1 of my tubes were totally blocked by the infection and that my other 1 had slight scar tissue so my chance of conceiving naturally were greatly reduced. anyway, i ended things with him as the stress and blame became too much to cope with, i have met someone else and love him with all my heart, we have been ttc the past year. Last aug i had an ectopic in the scar tissue tube, they managed to save it so i still had a chance, i miscarried 4 weeks ago at 5 weeks pregnant, do u think my sti has affected my uterus? i did get a lap & die and they checked my ovaries but not sure bout my uterus? any info would be gr8 at this scary time. no period yet from miscarriage

when i had the lap & die i was told that i would be able to fall pregnant so i am not infertile, i just need to know if it can cause me to miscarry even though it was 4 years ago. thanks xxx

yes, having chlamydia for 2+ years does result in infertility and miscarriages.

not necissarily!!its just how messed ur tubes are!! or u cnt get pregnant!! ask ur doctor to check ur tubes for any block ups!! good luck
