Why was i diagnosed w chlamydia again if i took the meds and did not have sex after? |
last year i was diagnosed with chlamydia, 8 months later i was diagnosed again... i took the meds and everything... i completely abstained from having sex, but about 3 months ago i was diagnosed again! i went to get checked about 2 or 3 wks later n got a pelvic exam, the nurse said that everything was fine, but something just does not feel fine. I feel like i still have it but im scared to go again... the nurse said it might have been a stubborn case of chlamydia which is rare, but now they said i was fine.... Please help! The nurse is right, there are cases out there that chlamydia has become resistant to some medications given. This is why it is always best to be rechecked 4 weeks later after taking the medication.
