the reason that it makes it easier to catch HIV if you have chlamydia is because you will have open wounds where the chlamydia has set up residence making it easier for the HIV virus to enter your body. You do not have to have chlamydia to catch HIV. It can be any break in the surface of the skin that allows the HIV virus to penetrate into your body.
