last month i went to the doctor which was a free clinic i was told by the people in the front that the free clinic was going out of business...then a few weeks later i receive a prescription in the mail for chlamydia saying my test came back positive and she gave me a medicine called ZITHROMAX i took the medicine as directed to but like an hour later I threw it back up and it didn't work,** I DONT HAVE ANY INSURANCE SO I'M KINDA SUCK** it would be better if i could buy the medicine over the counter well i took the medicine with food because thats what the lady at the pharmacey told me to do...its kinda hard going through this Go to the emergency room - they have to treat you and can't turn you away. You may need to apply for medicaid. BTW, you can't get rid of chlamydia with any over the counter medication and have to get antibiotics, If you let this go untreated, you may wind up with PID, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and then may have to be hospitalized. No, sorry. Zithromax is an antibiotic and they don't sell them over the counter anywhere. You need to go to the doc even if you need to drive to the next town over or borrow money from someone. Chlamydia can cause all kinds of problems if you don't treat it. If you ever plan on having kids you don't want to wait too long because it can scar your reproductive organs. Zithromax can be hard on the stomach. Did you try taking it with food or milk? No you can't get it over the counter unfortunetly. When I was prescribed azythromicin (same drug basically) I was told to take it on an empty stomach because it is known to cause stomach upsets no otc go to the free clinic |
