Can i get chlamydia by having genital contact?

My fiancee and I almost always used condoms. Honestly, in the beginning, we didn't, but later on, we did all the time. I went to get an STD test at the end of August and earlier this week, I found out that I have Chlamydia. My antibodies were low, so I must have just gotten it (even though we always used condoms). My test didn't come back positive, but reactive, meaning that there weren't enough antibodies to make it positive, but enough to show that it was there. My opinion? Always wear protection and get tested every 6 months for STDs. But now days, Chlamydia is as common as a cold, so it's not a big deal if caught early on. It can be cured very easily with antibiotics. If you think that you came in contact with someone who was infected with Chlamydia, you can go get tested tomorrow and your results will probably be correct. Get tested a month after to make sure that it's correct. I hope I helped and please wear protection and get tested! =)
