Can my bf get chlamydia?

i recently found out that i had been tested Positive for chlamydia, thank God it's curable! unfortunately i contracted it from my ex...it's so hard for me to believe it =[ fortunately i'm not with him any more! now i have a new Boyfriend and i want to abstain from sex until i know for sure he's the one!
i googled it and the info. said it's found in a womans throat,
i wanted to know, since im kissing my new bf now, can he still get it? also im now on Azithromycin Tablets for 5 days and after that will i be completely cured? what is good to prevent a yeast infection for the future after getting off these antibiotics?

The antibiotics will treat your entire system. That means your throat and your genitals, as well as any other bacterial infections or flora you carry in your body. Eating yogurt will help to prevent yeast infections. You will need to abstain from sex at least until you have finished the ENTIRE course of antibiotics (and take every pill, otherwise you're just breeding superbugs. Just what we need, huh? Drug-resistant chlamydia strains?) Even after having finished the antibiotics, you should have protected sex from now on. Be more careful so that you don't give the gift that keeps on giving.
