Can you get Chlamydia from oral sex?

How do you know you have it?

Yes you can get chlamydia from oral sex if the person is infected, however it is not the same as genital clamydia. There are three types of chlamydia infections:

Chlamydia trachomatis: is a major cause of sexually transmitted diseases such as that of the gentiles.

Chlamydia pneumoniae: usually causes a type of relatively mild "walking pneumonia." Patients experience fever and cough.

Chlamydia psittaci: is a bacteria carried by many types of birds, including pigeons, canaries, parakeets, parrots, and some gulls. Humans acquire the bacteria through contact with dust from bird feathers, bird droppings, or from the bite of a bird carrying the bacteria.

It is most likely that if you are infected you will get either one of the first two types of chlamydia. A simple laboratory test will easily diagnose you.
