If I have had chlamydia can I fall pregnant?

I found out last year that all my period pain was casue by a great deal of scarring from having chlamydia. Although I had no idea that I had it.
I have recently meet some one and we both wish to have children together but I am unsure of my chances of it happening!
Does anyone know wat the chances of falling pregnant are after having chlamydia?
I have booked in to see my gyno but it is a 3 month wait, and we cant wait that lnog?
