Chlamydia-Can I masturbate?

Hello,

Last week after having an STD/STI check i was made aware that i have contracted Chlamydia and i have begun taking antibiotics for the next 10 days.

i am into day 4 of this and have met someone so as I was instructed not to have sex would it be ok if i was digitally stimulated or masturbated by someone?

Or would it be best if i just don鈥檛 touch anything down there at all until i get the all clear?

Thank you.

It is safe to masturbate by yourself. But no mutual masterbation (masterbating with someone). And, if you use any sex toys during masterbation you should put a condom on them and make sure to clean them well.
To be safe I would strongly encourage you to avoid all sex play until you are done with your medication. Why take the chance of transmitting it to your partner and then possibly back to you, then you'll both need treatment and you for a second time and then you'll have to abstain even longer. Next time, make sure your partner is clean. Nothing more disgusting than bringing home an STD, no matter how good the sex was with the girl you got it from. Yuck.
No there's nothing wrong with masturbation, just make sure your ejaculate doesn't end up all over the place or on anyone. Wash thoroughly afterwards.
Just wait another week. Seriously, didn't you JUST meet this person!? Sheesh! Have you ever wondered just how you caught chlamydia in the first place?!
Chlamydia are very very small and can be transmitted between people on fingers.
So to be safe no mutual masturbation as women do not often know when they have this disease and it is so easily passed back and forth.
