Yes chlamydia can cause pink eye (conjunctivitis), Iritis, and can also affect the glands around your eyes and ears (cellulitis). If you touch your eye (s) make sure you wash your hands with an antibacterial soap, and wipe any surfaces that you may touch with a bleach solution or antibacterial cleanser (other people can touch that same surface and touch their own eyes and catch it). Make sure you use your eye medication as directed, if you don't see any results within 2-3 days, go back to your doctor, you might need a stronger eye medication and/or oral antibiotics. If you use any eye make up, throw it out and buy new eye make up after your eye (s) are cleared up and you are finished with your medication course. You can re-infect your eyes if you use your old eye make up again.

Rule of thumb, always throw away your eyeliner/mascara every 4 months to prevent eye infections.

I'm not sure if it causes pink eye but i know if treated to late it can cause infertility
