Can Chlamydia trigger off HPV, which could then result in Cervical Dysplasia or cancer? |
Or is the two completely seperate and can only be contracted independently? they are two diferrent things. the one thing you need to know about HVP is that 80% of women have this and that many do not know unless they end up with with an abnormal pap. Yes some womens body can fight off this disease and they will never know they are a carrier of it. But if they found you have dyslepsia then your body is not able to fight this off and your chances of getting cervical cancer are higher then most. Now a days you can sleep with one person and contract this disease as long as they have sleep with someone else other then you. Just keep getting regular check ups and your doctors may want to do a biopsy to find out if you have any big changes in your cells. It is not bad. ( just went through this) And I hate to say it but I would be asking your husband what he has been doing. Because you contracted a disease and if he is the only person you have been with lately then chances are you contracted this from him. It takes up to 22 days for signs of clymida to start showing. Good luck and take care. i believe you answered your own question, i think they are two totally different things. i would ask a doctor, or look it up on the internet well i'm not sure that it can. I would check with your doctor though. HPV can develope from and minor infection in your vagina. I'm have problems with that now. and sometimes just an infection can make your pap results abnormal. don't stress too much just talk with your doc he/she could tell you more and help you understand. Good Luck. i unfortunately recieved chlamydia from an unfaithful partner one stupid night. a few months later after it was well and gone, i was told i had severe dysplasia. there is quite possibly a link between the two. i'd ask the gyn to be certain. |
