yes it can be transmitted by saliva
I honestly do not know. I think I got it from the dirty showers at the GYM, those benches in the women's steam room, It could not be my partner! My Dr. insisted it was from my husband, and medicated us both.
it can only be transmitted by saliva if you both have bleeding cuts in your mouth. Its not contagious like that. Unprotected sex is the most frequent way people contract this STD. if your worried about kissing someone with it dont be.
