Can chlamydia be transmitted by someone who's test comes back negative?

My chlamydia test came back positive, but my partner was negative and he's the only one I slept with.

No, it is only transmitted if you have it. Since you are sure he is negative then he didn't give it to you.
Unless there was a false negative on his test...it happens but it is VERY rare.
And you believe him?
Im sorry, but your partner might not be telling the truth, I think he's scared about you finding out. Your lucky its not a viral disease, because chlamydia can be cured.

Women who have symptoms might have an abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating. When the infection spreads from the cervix to the fallopian tubes (tubes that carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus), some women still have no signs or symptoms; others have lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, or bleeding between menstrual periods. Chlamydial infection of the cervix can spread to the rectum.
