Only this moring my partner has a rash in his genital area has been given pills for chlamydia yet i dont think it could be this. I never went back for the all clear results

Chlamydia can be cured, its difficult though, you both should be retested, you and him may both need antibiotics now Source(s): Im a Pharmacist
i thought it was incurable? hmmmm
it's very difficult to get rid of the pills provided are never a garentee
chlamydia is actually easy to get rid of, I never heard of a rash associated with it though. Are you sure it's not herpes?
See your doctor, i hope you informed your partner of your condition before hand, he'll be really angry if you didn't
Hi there,

Chlmydia can lay dormant for months or years so you may have passed it on to your partner before and then he passed it back to you.

The anti-biotics don't always work first time so it is important to go back and be tested.

Don't feel bad, you can have it for months and not notice so may be before you got together

Hope this helps
