HAd chlamydia about 1 yr ago. Treated with zithromax. All seems fine. Never was told by Doc to go for re test. During the year had no symptoms. Maybe once in awhile a bit of burning sensation. But hradly noticable. Now tip of penis has become a bit painfull. No burning sensation. No discharge. Seems like prostate is tender. Urine is now dark yellow most of times. No increase trips to bathroom. Could it be I was not totally cured? Am not sleeping around!
Go get it rechecked. I had the same thing happen to me and was treated with zithromax. The symptoms came back and I had to be given another medication as well. The problem is, that certain strains of the organism are becoming resistant to certain antibiotics, so require a combination of therapies. Good luck, go see that doctor and tell your sexual partners. It is the responsible thing to do if diseases like this are to be eradicated.
Go back to your local doctor or to your local health department to be retested. Then again you just may be more aleart then you were a year ago. But dont stress just go back and get tested to be on the safe side.
