Anyone ever had chlamydia and was treated with 1 dose of antibiotic. how long does it take 4 symptoms 2 leave coming from a nurse every individual is different as far as symptoms are concerned...sometimes symptoms clear up in just a couple of days but you definately need to wait 7-14 days and then get re-checked and make sure your partner is also treated because if you become intimate with him or her again you may re-infect yourself if both not treated. i was treated with the one dose medication that you drink, not pills. i never had any symptoms, but im assuming since the doctor says no sex for a week, in a week or less all the symptoms will be gone. Chlamydia is treated with 1 dose of antibiotic. You should have your partner treated as well and then use condoms for protection until you are both rechecked in about a week. Make sure you are both clean before continuing unprotected relations. 7 days. |
