Which stage of chlamydia is infectious?


I think it is the first two stages.

The simple truth is that chlamydia is infectious until all antibiotics have been completed (if given for 7 days) or for 7 days after being given a one dose antibiotic treatment.

Sexual activity should not be resumed until the doctor has given clearance. The doctor will usually re-test the person(s) after antibiotic treatment is completed. Source(s): I'm an R.N.
