Can you have chlamydia and your partner don't even if you are having unprotected sex? |
Can you have chlamydia and your partner don't even if you are having unprotected sex? It is probably not possible, but your partner may not have symptoms of chlamydia (I have seen many, many women come to the hospital to have a baby, and be diagnosed with chlamydia, and they never even knew they had it for years. This goes for men too.) One can goes years without knowing they are infected, which is why chlamydia is becoming the number one std in the U.S. I recommend you look on the CDC website, they have an STD contact number where you can ask professionals any question you may have. Source(s): I work at hospital no your partner also has chlamydia especially if ya'll have had unprotected sex more than once. wear a rubber Even if your partner doesn't have the symptoms, they will still get the disease and pass it onto future partners. Why wouldn't a person who has this STD just go get it cleared up? Second question, why would they have unprotected sex knowing that they have it??? sounds suspect...chlamydia is very contagious. someone might be sleeping around? All types of STD including chlamydia is really bad news and a few severe types, like herpes is incurable. You should immediately go for a thorough check up with the STD specialist. You shouldn't take the risk by having unprotected sex. Always use a condom and it's safer that way. |
