I found out I got chlamydia & doctor prescribed me pills and a drink, but I still feel symptoms? why is this?


I took doxyline (the pills) for ten days, two a day as said, successfully without missing one. I also took the drink too but I kinda had an empty stomache.. And I also stayed away from sex for 10 days, but I did do mutual masturbation. Could this be the reason?

No, mutual masturbation wouldn't cause your symptoms to return. It may take some time for the meds to work. Kind of like when you get a regular infection and you take antibiotics, your meds may be gone, but you're still feeling sick for a bit longer. If it's not gone two weeks after you finished your meds, go back to the doc. The meds might not have worked for you and they should give you a different med.
if it dont clear up ask to be prescribed zythromax thats usually what is prescribed for chlamydia
Wait and take your full dose of meds...
