Can you give a man chlamydia by giving him oral sex? |
OK, I am quite aware that a person can get chlamydia in his or her throat from giving oral sex to a man infected with chlamydia. What I would like to know is, it possible for someone who has chlamydia in his or her throat to give it to the person on whom he or she gives oral sex? I am looking for a reliable reference on the net that has the answer to this question, like the CDC. I'm not really interested in answers that aren't backed up by legitimate sources, sorry. Yes. http://www.cdc.gov/std/chlamydia/stdfact... No one answered my specific question. There should have been no best answer. This was very frustrating. Ok it's the day before thanksgiving and I doubt too many reliable sources from the CDC are going to be able to help you right now so I am gonna give you some common sense....see a doctor and stay away from eachother untill the **** is taken care of. Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth. Any sexually active person can be infected with chlamydia. The greater the number of sex partners, the greater the risk of infection. Because the cervix (opening to the uterus) of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured, they are at particularly high risk for infection if sexually active. Since chlamydia can be transmitted by oral or anal sex, men who have sex with men are also at risk for chlamydial infection. http://www.cdc.gov/std/chlamydia/stdfact... Yes because if you have cuts or abrasions in your mouth you can transmit the infection to a man if a woman is giving oral sex because the fluid such as blood can be transmitted to a man if he's got cuts or abrasions on his penis and they're fresh or newly healed. The problem is that Chlamydia is dubbed the silent disease because of the fact that it shows no symptoms until that person(s) are diagnosed by a doctor. |
