How can you pass on chlamydia. can you pass it on without sleeping around. my g/f has it? Chlamydia is an STD - the only way to get it is to have sex (unless she's seen a FILTHY gynecologist who doesn't sterilize his/her equipment! EWWWW!!). Seriously, however, it can go without symptoms for many years - YOU may have even been a carrier (having gotten it from one of your previous partners), since men very rarely have symptoms at all, and then given it to her. If she's been diagnosed you should be treated as well; and don't jump to the wrong conclusions please! It is only caught through sex but a person can have it for years without realising as it is mainly symptomless, especially in women. you really are taking the pi** now, how many times do you want an answer she has been at it behind your back or maybe you have. It's a sexually transmitted disease, and it's pretty hard to get it without engaging in sexual activity. But, she may have had it for a long time, and didn't know it (often there are very few or no symptoms) so she may not be cheating on you. You also might have had it for a long time(nearly no symptoms in guys) and gave it to her. Make sure you get tested! If she is a wonderful girlfriend in every other way, and has never given you the inclination that she might be cheating, I wouldn't worry too much about it. She may have slept with someone who has it? I think it is sexually transmitted but not 100% sure. well just because someone has it doesnt mean she slept around. all it takes is once with a person who has it. and yeah sex is pretty much the only way you get it |
