Is it possible to get chlamydia without having a partnet with it?

I understand that Chlamydia is a bacterial infection that is spread through sex. Where does the bacteria come from? Is it possible to get a bacterial infection and spread it to your partner without originally getting it through sex?

yeah, it can be trasmitted through non-sexual body fluids such as sweat, and it can come from anywhere, a friend uses a towel and you use it later, bacteria are pretty resilient, they can survive nearly anywhere
As a regional director of mattress cleaning, I gotta tell you kids that Motel mattresses are literally growing with stuff. Think about this, for every drunk night you spend with three or four guys, there have been hundreds of people just like you on the same mattress. Not sure if this helps your case but either way becarefull.
nope, chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease. End of story.
RN
up to 90% of people w/ it don't have symptoms so you might not know if your partner has it.
