How can my partners test for chlamydia come back positive and mine negative?

1. Your partner must have gotten it from somebody else.
2. Chances are that you will get it too (unless you stop having sex with him/her).
3. As a responsible person, your partner should warn everybody he/she has had sex with about his/her problem. This way they can have a test done themselves and if positive, get medical help.
DUH!
Obviously, your "faithful" partner is not!

They should be contacting whomever else they have been with!

sounds like your partner has been screwing around with someone else. You may have had a false negative. If you've had sex with them since their test came back positive, get tested again.
you were lucky his cheating behind didnt pass it to you. I would retest though, just in case and check for the other stuff too. HIV,GONORREAH,SYPHILLIS,TRICHO... and PID
It seems that your partner has been cheating on you. Were you treated for a yeast infection or anything like that lately? If not your partner has not been faithful.
Factors that can interfere with your test or the accuracy of the results include:

Abnormal:
Chlamydia antigens or DNA are found. If a culture is done, chlamydia bacteria grow in the culture.
