How do i know that the chlamydia the doktor diagnosed is in a early stage? it was my first test.? |
I am 24, sexual active since i was 16 and never had a STD test before...so how do i know how long i have it?? maybe I also have PID now or worse... About three-quarters of the people with it don't know it. If you have any symptoms at all they will appear about 1-3 weeks after exposure. Early signs are vaginal discharge and burning or painful urination. As long as you take the antibiotic given you -you should be fine.. there is no telling how long you have had it.. especially with multiple partners.. just be sure they are also notified and take the meds.. if you are concerned about any effects you are not aware of see your gynecologist and have them do a few tests ... Might wanna get them partners of yours to use a CONDOM !!!! You should have asked the doctor. Untreated Clamydia can cause PID and eventually tubes are scared which can prevent pregnancy..please practice safe sex use condoms...not only as birth control but to prevent passing STD's...between HIV, GC, and Herpes.. There is no way to know for sure, but since you aren't in miserable pain from PID, I would say its probably within the last 6 months or so. I work in an std clinic. |
