How long is "untreated" when referencing Chlamydia?

I read if untreated for too long in every article I read theres just none that say how long like months or years. If you know the real answer I would love to know. Thank-You very much.

Everybody is different...but I have a friend that carried Chlamydia for a little over a yr. She do not know the exact date she caught it but close...too embarrassed. If there is ANY possibility a doctor should been seen. No need to be shamed now...who cares what others may say...it is not their body. If money is an issue...check around...there are a lot of family planning clinics that are cheap...some free! Not saying u have it though....lol!
I think the general rule is that the longer you go untreated the worse the risks will be. Untreated in women it can leat to PID and the women would most likely not be able to have children. However...sometimes you may not know you have it so its always best to see a doc especially if you have had unprotected sex.
Chlamydia is treated with antibiotics and the course is usally 3 months. How ever the resolt is chequed by your GP and therther treatment may be nessasery. Chlamydia will make you Infertyle if not treated and you could end up passing it on to other people threw sex, so use protection and see your GP about the problem.
