Is it possible for me to have chlamydia and not my parter?

we have been having sex now for about three months and sometimes it is protected. i havent slept with anyone else. i went to my doctor and was told i had it. i told him and he went to his doctor and doesnt have it.

hmm..idk.
Yes, it is very possible. And obviously, it is if your partner has not contracted it. There are some people who go a very long time with chlamydia, and not even know it. But in this case, you did find out that you had this problem, and hopefully took every action to solve it. I'm sure your doctor gave you some antibiotics and said that was all. Just in case, your partner might have been given the antibiotics. Hopefully now, you understand how dangerous it is to have unprotected sex, and you won't make the same mistake again. But, to answer your question, it is very possible, because some people have stronger immune systems to fight off the disease, whilst others don't. Carpe diem & good luck to you!
