If my Doctor found I have chlamydia and was treated with Azithromycia 250 mgs does that mean I automatically have HIV?

Chlamydia and HIV are two totally separate infections and tests. They are not related at all. If you are concerned about your HIv status you should get tested for it. Source(s): I am a health care provider at a family planning clinic
No, Chlamydia is a common STD treated with a one-time shot of azithromycin. Having this infection does not say anything about your hiv status. The only way to know that is to get an HIV test.
chlamydia is not HIV that is a different virus.but you should always use protection.there are somethings that you can get even with protection, know your man and keep the lights on
Actually the proper treatment for chlamydia is 1000mg of Azithromycin. You should verify how much you received. and no, having chlamydia does NOT mean you have HIV

Just keep on having sex like the last time and do not worry you can't get HIV.
