I have just been treated for Chlamydia, and the only person I have been with for the past year is clear, how? |
He is the only person I have been with in the past year, and twice we were not safe... I know he has the all clear, but how can this be so? It could be possible that he has it and has no symptoms of it - that happens with 99% of all STDs including HIV initially and people make the mistake of thinking that if you can't see anything that they don't have anything. Has he been tested before? Did you go with him to get tested? If not he could just be telling . Has he been with others? In men, chlamydia may not cause any symptoms, but symptoms that may occur include: a painful or burning sensation when urinating, an unusual discharge from the penis, swollen or tender testicles, or fever. How do you get it? Chlamydia is a venereal disease which is usually transmitted by sexual activity - intercourse AND oral sex. Most STDs including HIV can be transmitted through oral sex. Ways you can get it: Semen from the penis, vaginal fluid, and blood can carry the bacteria that causes the infection. The bacteria can enter the body of a person through contact with these fluids. The only other way is if you had any open sore at some point and the fluid of another person entered that sore somehow - oral sex perhaps? Question Can you get HIV or any other disease by receiving oral sex from a girl, and, if so, could you name the diseases please? Answer You cannot get HIV from contact with saliva alone, so insertive oral sex (that is a man receiving oral sex) is safe. The only way insertive oral sex could present some risk is if your sex partner had sufficient amounts of blood in her mouth (from recent dental work or other dental problems for example) and your penis came into direct contact with blood. But you鈥檇 hopefully notice if your partner had blood in her mouth. You can get other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) from insertive oral sex. The more common ones include gonorrhea, chlamydia, and non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU). These usually can be treated easily with antibiotics. You may also get syphilis (which usually can be treated easily with antibiotics (if identified early enough) and herpes (which can鈥檛 be cured but can be treated). A useful table of STDs and associated risks can be found online. It also contains detailed information about each STD. If you鈥檙e a sexually active young man, you should probably get screened at least once a year for STDs. Many STDs do not have symptoms and can go unnoticed. Talk to your doctor about screening for STDs, or, if you are uncomfortable talking with him or her, you can go to a city or county STD clinic. ***BE careful - what if it was herpes, hepatitis,HPV or HIV - all of which never go away. You can even get some of these with use of a condom so make sure you and any partners are tested BEFORE sexual relations.*** may be a carrier, you have had it since birth. your parents probably have it. Because he was putting it in your ear. maybe you have had if for more than a year and the other 23 guys you slept with could have contributed to this... My God, you've slept with 24 men, already!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! You're a $LUT!!!!!!! You should pray to Jesus! Repent! it depends on you |
