How can a man get tested for Chlamydia?? |
I need to know first how serious chlamydia is and how does a man go about getting tested for it? What if he doesn't have health insurance? Does anyone have any information?!! I found out that I have it, got treated for it, and still have it! Which means my bf never got tested! We don't know who had it first or where we got it from but I want it gone!!!!! Someone please HELP ME!!! It is not that serious unless you let it go untreated. Go to your county health department, they are usually free and do testing for STD's. He probably never got tested or treated. It is a vicious circle if he does not get treatment, the worst they will do is stick a swap up his urinary tract, i/e up his penis. This in itself may scare him but compared to the effects of prolonged illness of chalmydia, the procedure pales significiatly. Tell him to grow a pair or you don't need him, b/c if he does'nt get treated, you will keep getting it and others on here have already told you what kind of damage it can do to you if you don't make him seek treatment. Good Luck! He should be able to go to Planned Parenthood for testing. well.....they can stick the probe in your penis..or there is a urine test that hurts less.......either one should be good....... Every city has a health department. If you both are sexually active you can go in together/ or separate and get tested. I recommend you get tested for everything. It is Free there. Good luck I hope This Helps RN county health dept, identify himself as a contact. Go to any City hospital, they should be able to not only test you for it but also give you medication to take. I just looked on the web and the usual treatment is antibiotics. Get treatment as soon as possible. |
