What antibiotics are required to clear up chlamydia? |
My sister says she slept around a bit as a youngster and thinks she has chlamydia (waiting for results from doctors) and wants to know what treatment to expect. Will she then be able to conceive again? there are different types of antibiotics which will clear it the doctor will decide which one to give her id have asked the doctor instead of advertising it to the world It's a brand new antibiotic called ABSTINENCE!! if the results come back posotive, she will have to take some antibiotics, its 4 tablets that have to be taken at once. Thats the only usual thing that is done, but she will have to go back for another swab a few weeks latter just to make sure it is cleared up. Also it might be a good idea that she has a full check up at a G.U.N clinic just to make sure she hasnt caught anything else. And yes she will be able to concieve, it shouldnt be a problem if she hasnt had it long, usually ifits been in the body for years unoticed, thats when it might cause problems. there are some safe antibiotics like doxycyclin that i think will help her dont worry and and try me as the best answer Only her body can awnser that question dont you just hate it when people are so quick to pass judgement when they answer you questions...im sure your sister has learned from her mistakes..we all make them...best to go to your doctor to get the medication sorted..and the quicker you go the better chance she has of saving her fertility |
