Is it possible for a man to be a carrier of chlamydia and not actually have it?

I have heard that a man can pass chlamydia and be a carrier of it. Does that mean that he can be the carrier of the STD but not actually have it? What are the chances he would test positive for it?

No, It is impossible to be a "carrier" for Chlamydia. If someone you slept with was diagnosed there is a 99% chance that you have it. Chlamydia is easily passed among sexual partners because many times there are no symptoms. 80% of women and 20% of men have no symptoms whatsoever. If you suspect you have chlamydia go to an STD clinic, you can remain anonymous, get very fast results and they will treat you on the spot at no cost to you. The longer you wait the more dangerous it becomes.
