Is it possible for me to have gotten chlamydia and for it to not have been passed on to my partner? |
I went to the doctor because I am pregnant and they found chlamydia. I cured it and then I took my partner to get checked and his test came out negative. Is that possible? Yes this is possible. It is much more difficult for a male to contract and STD through vaginal sex then for a female. You must have contracted the infection from another partner. There is also a possibility the test was wrong. If you've not been with any one else then you should encourage him to be retested. Good luck! I really hope now that you are pregnant your only having protected sex oral or otherwise. We want you to have a healthy baby and be healthy your self so you can be the best mother you can be. Please protect your self and your baby and use a condom every time. RN no! i don't think so..it's depends before you knew you had chlamydia did you have sex with your partner?? if not your partner didn't catch it.. That's too weird for me.I'd have him re tested.Do u have birds?? some birds carry chlamydia. That would be the only way I would think that is possiable. yes its possible i had a partner test positive for this and we had been having unprotected sex for 6 months (yes i know i was very stupid in my youth) so when he told me he had it I went and got myself tested 3 times just to be sure and all test came back negative yes he could have it go see some one else i got told chlamydia says dorment in your body for up to 5 yrs of my gyno i got tested for due 2 my ex having an affiar but it was cancer i had not this plz go see some one else No it not possible! He had it and got cured and didn't tell you about it! If you had unprotected sex with him he would have it. If he gave you oral sex he would have it. Something is not right you should talk to him about this. well yes probably he must have gotten it take care of it and stay silent |
