Which cheeses are lower in cholesterol and/or fat? |
My fiance and I love fine cheeses (both for general tastings and for cooking). I was planning on baking some portabello caps stuffed with toasted walnuts, oyster mushrooms, spinach and brie tonight (maybe some tomato as well) but brie is a little higher in cholestrol than I would like. Can anyone tell me which cheeses have (relatively) less cholesterol and/or fat (no "low-fat velveeta" please)? Hard cheeses such as Permesan, Asiago and Pecorino romano are typically lower in fat. they are all fatting |
