phenom, reducing cholesterol is largely a matter of limiting fat consumed, although many people also choose to eat less of foods containing cholesterol, like shrimp and liver.

You can still eat plenty, if that's your choice, while eating a diet which can reduce your cholesterol. Aim for no more than 30% of your total caloric intake to come from fats of any kind--that's oil, butter, margarine, mayonnaise, peanut butter... You can get more specific about targeting types of fats, but in general, eating little fat will do the job and takes less education and label-reading.

How many calories you eat will affect your weight, but what's in those calories will impact your cholesterol levels.

Weight control is best accomplished with a lifestyle change. It
requires proper nutrition, exercise, calorie management,
motivation, and discipline. Explore the links. The info will
serve you well the rest of your life.

If self education is not your bag, join Weight Watchers or
something similar. They'll teach you and you'll have group support.

Good Luck.

to lower your cholestrol you have to change your diet and do a life style change.

okay, if you want to eat so bad, fine!
but eat the right things at least?
not so much greasy stuff..
then try to cut down lil by lil...
eat oats if you can tolerate it...
and go for some exercise like a jog or something regularly k..
that should do it!
