High Cholesterol, Should i stop eating eggs? |
doc told me i had high cholesterol should i stop eating eggs cause i thought they were good for you or just switch to egg whites, and also cheese should i not eat that anymore. Egg yolks are extremely high in cholesterol. The whites are very healthy though, high in protein, virtually no fat. I eat egg beaters which are made from whites. You also might want to consider cutting all dairy from your diet. Not only for the fat, but also the fact that a protein in milk actually causes the cholesterol in your blood stream to oxidize and form plaque in the arteries leading to cardiovascular disease. Switch to egg whites, they have all of the protein, but no cholesterol. |
