How do I rate my diet in its ability to PREVENT coronary heart disease?

28% of my calories were from fat, 7.8% were from saturated fat. My recommended cholesterol is 300mg, but I was 489.39mg...

just stick to a very minimal fat and cholesterol intake and workout a lot..i got so sick of seeing my family people battle with cholesterol that i turned vegetarian 5 years ago..

Exercises like Tai Chi and Yoga have proved to be beneficial in promoting good cholesterol in the body. Deep breathing and stretching exercises helps the blood flow to all parts of the body. Meditation helps in preventing hardening of the arteries. If proper food and exercise is maintained then the cholesterol levels could come down drastically.
