How do vegans get enough cholesterol?

I know that your liver makes cholesterol for your body, but do you need more than your liver makes?
Cholesterol only comes from animal products (as far as I know), so how do vegans get cholesterol?

You are right about one thing, you need cholesterol to maintain healthy tissues, which is one of the reasons cholesterol lowering drugs are killing people.

(Why did "Just Say No" never extend to prescription medication?)

Vegans get dietary cholesterol from healthy oils, nuts and seeds.

You don't need cholesterol, so vegans are fine without it.

Actually we don't need to consume any more than our body naturally makes. Our bodies make cholesterol from some fats like olive or canola oils but these are HDLs or good cholesterols. Animal products only have the LDL or bad cholesterol so it's good to avoid it as much as possible.

Your liver gives you enough..you do not need any more than provided..Why aren't you asking if meat eaters get TOO MUCH cholesterol, regarding the fact meat is the number one cause of heart problems in America?!

LMAO! That's like asking "how do you get enough cyanide?"

If you have a liver, you have enough cholesterol. Dietary cholesterol on top of that doesn't help, it HARMS you.

Your liver makes it.

Dietary fats (plant or animal) stimulate the liver to produce different types of cholesterol (LDL or HDL, among others) with varying effects but animal fats usually contain some 'free' cholesterol as well.

you don't need dietary cholesterol, your body makes it

You do not need any cholesterol from dietary intake. Your liver produces more than enough.
