How do vegans get enough cholesterol? |
I know that your liver makes cholesterol for your body, but do you need more than your liver makes? You are right about one thing, you need cholesterol to maintain healthy tissues, which is one of the reasons cholesterol lowering drugs are killing people. You don't need cholesterol, so vegans are fine without it. Actually we don't need to consume any more than our body naturally makes. Our bodies make cholesterol from some fats like olive or canola oils but these are HDLs or good cholesterols. Animal products only have the LDL or bad cholesterol so it's good to avoid it as much as possible. Your liver gives you enough..you do not need any more than provided..Why aren't you asking if meat eaters get TOO MUCH cholesterol, regarding the fact meat is the number one cause of heart problems in America?! LMAO! That's like asking "how do you get enough cyanide?" Your liver makes it. you don't need dietary cholesterol, your body makes it You do not need any cholesterol from dietary intake.
