How to test whether your arteries and vessels have plaques other than cholesterol?

Such as some chemicals that have been absorbed into your body? The plaques in the vessels are often cholesterols but can also contain chemicals such as cholorine compounds. Is there a blood test that can do this? Or is it impossible because after a certain time the chlorine will not be detected in the blood? Appreciate any insight.

Chloride is a normal content of blood. So there is no point in testing for chloride. Plaques can be detected by multi detector CT scan (MDCT).
