Is my Cholesterol too high? |
I am 16 years old, and I my cholesterol value is 145 mg/dl... You are fine. Perfect. They really start to worry when you get over 170, but you are fine. Walking helps so much to reduce cholesterol, honestly...slow , fast, doesn't matter, just walk, try to build up to 4 miles per day and yes you can break that up, just get your 4 miles in if you can, it helps tremendously. That's actually on the low side and perfectly healthy, so you have nothing to worry about. That's healthy. 200 is borderline. So stay away from 200. Try to keep your cholestrol value on 145. |
